Attention, please!

This big ol’ handsome guy has been in foster with us for more than 2 years. He keeps getting overlooked and can’t seem to find his forever people. It is time to bring Leo home.

The craziest part about him getting passed over is that Leo is such a great guy whose requirements are rather simple to fulfill. No big obstacles with this dude: He’s social, gets along with smaller dogs, is good with cats and really likes kids who are about age 10 and older.

Leo is a 4-year-old Mastiff/Pittie mix who weighs right around 100 lbs. He is on the lower-energy end and pretty low-maintenance.

Here’s what Leo’s ideal home should be like:

–Either an active place or a quiet place. He likes all the people he meets and does fine with crowds.
–He makes friends with smaller dogs. Anyone under 45 lbs. or so who is reasonably mellow will be his buddy.
–Cats are fine
–Kids over 10 who respect when he needs his space
–Either a fenced yard or someone who is good with a big dog on a leash

Leo’s owner was only in their mid-40s when they passed away. They had planned to spend Leo’s whole life doing all the best dog & human things and enjoying every moment together. Unfortunately for both of them, it didn’t work out that way. Leo has been waiting all this time to get to have that chance, poor guy.
